The lack of college price transparency isn't just hurting the public. It's holding colleges and universities back from figuring out how to provide a better value at a better price.
"I give up" as a policy suggestion to solve the college pricing debacle. Wow. Sadly, this author lands on this conclusion because the he doesn't understand how consumers actually experience the college shopping process. As long as consumers are told that they have spend money researching schools, optimizing their applicant status, and submitting applications to a select group of colleges, all before knowing whether their final price will fit their budget or not, the data points on college prices, enrollments, and operational costs will continue be confusing, conflict, and downright useless in trying to figure out how to fix anything. #collegeadmissions #educationpolicy #makeyourtuitionfit #financialaid #tuition #transparency #highereducation #college #highered #education https://lnkd.in/ghpgh2TS
