But the country has taken it one step further. It is selling onigiri - made from the sweat of “cute girls.” Because of the unique way it is handled, the onigiri is sold for a premium. While one ball usually costs around 100 yen, this one is around ten times more. Some studies suggest armpit sweat contains pheromones that can influence emotions positively but the practice is sparking heated online debates.
