Ukraine Invasion – 12/23/2023 -- I post each day to support the Ukrainians against Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s immoral war and his war crimes. Слава Україні! On the frontlines: Russian troops have made small territorial gains in recent weeks on the frontlines in eastern Ukraine, They have a manpower advantage but are paying a huge price in loss of soldiers at the same time. Russia has made recent advances near Avdiivka, Kupyansk, Bakhmut, and Marinka. It is clear that Russia has momentum right now, in part due to Ukrainian manpower and material shortages. Because of no American military aid, territory Ukraine gained is being lost. Fighting age Ukrainian men in Estonia could be extradited to their home country and forced to join the army. This is due to a shortage of soldiers as the war drags on. Estonia will support the return of Ukrainian citizens. Ukraine says it forced down three Russian aircraft on the southern front. Other news: The assassination of the Wagner mercenary army chief Yevgeny Prigozhin was approved by a close ally of Putin. As always, the trail leads back to the thuggish dictator who always gets his adversaries. Polish truck drivers have unblocked the border with Ukraine. Financial institutions that support the Russian military will be blacklisted in the U.S. due to a presidential executive order.
