Think of AI as an enabler to do better work, not to be put out of work 🤖

The other day, I came across this great podcast by Erik Schwartz and Daniel Tunkelang that goes deep on the intersection of Gen AI and Search: https://lnkd.in/gR-wT3Mb At Faros AI, we recently used LLMs as a quick-and-easy way to expand user search queries and widen recall on top of the ootb search apis already available with our BI layer. Thus a user query for “Counts of Pagerduty alerts, broken down by service”, gets matched to charts and dashboards that show “Incident alerts, broken down by application”. Or “Code reviews by employee level” retrieves a chart that shows “Distribution of PR reviews by seniority”. This simple LLM-based approach to query expansion has actually been working really well for us, helping our users explore their engineering data without needing to know exactly how it might be indexed in the platform. Partial screenshot below👇 Bonus: It even has spell correction baked in 🙂
