I'm torn between loving the current nostalgia marketing trend and feeling oddly manipulated by it. Food, being so immersive and evocative, is a fun and natural fit for retro aesthetics and menu items, but for larger brands in particular, it can be tricky to get the balance right between it feeling authentic and contrived.
