Friday - Pie day! Make sure to use your fork properly. I wrote you a fork poem to help you do well 😉 Once Johnny, but not Cash Had a really big rash. It was 18th century when the thought flashed: How can I best get my back scratched? His hand couldn’t reach Even if he tried each. He could have used a fork But there was only a cork. Four tine fork yet wasn’t invented Only the cheese was fermented. It was some decades later That he could’ve gotten one from a waiter. I suggest you use it for food If you are a polite dude. You can find it on the left of your plate If you sit at a table straight. When you only use your fork For pasta, salad or for pork; Keep it in your dominant hand No matter what others demand. When the knife is to assist Do not hold them in your fist; Have your index finger straight Especially if you’re on a date. Fork is also for your “pudding” Or “dessert” if French is cooking. You use it to shovel a bite on a spoon And soon you’ll resemble a giant baloon. Enjoy your upcoming lunch 😉

Leave the crust.🍕 As a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur, I often get asked why I don't eat the crust. It's not that I don't like it, but I certainly enjoy the middle with all that zesty sauce, tasty cheese, and delicious toppings much more. With only so much stomach space available, I choose to eat the best parts and ignore the rest. Isn’t every day is kinda like a big ol’ pizza pie, offering more than can be consumed. There’s no way to fit it all in. So, maybe to start this new week, consider the pizza strategy and dig into the most important parts first. Leave all that crust sitting. You don’t want it taking away space from the things that matter. (Bonus: As a meatball with bacon & extra cheese fan from Dewey's Pizza in St Louis, curious about your go-to pizza place & order?)
