With Phase III of FOLU’s strategy on the horizon, we’re celebrating some of the impact the Coalition has had across the last 3 and a half years. From scaling regenerative agriculture in Ethiopia, to costing and modelling the mitigation potential of Nature-based Solutions in Kenya and India, we’ve been working with actors in seven countries and at global, regional, national and local levels to unlock better #FoodSystems outcomes for people, nature and climate.  Our first Impact Report captures just a snapshot of our efforts in our Phase II workstream and highlights the progress our community has made in driving collective #ActionOnFood at scale. Currently, the framework for measuring #SDG progress contains 13 indicators for #ZeroHunger and malnutrition, none of which measure the quality of diets. Women account for 43% of the global agricultural labour force, and play an outsized role in sustaining the health and nutrition of households worldwide. Yet despite their central role in ensuring #GoodFood4All, women farmers receive just 10% of total aid for agriculture, forestry and fisheries, and a mere 5% of all agricultural extension services globally. As leaders turn their sights to building #NaturePositive #FoodSystems at #COP16 in Colombia, it is vital that they keep an equal focus on removing the barriers that women face in accessing land, resources, finance, markets, technology and employment opportunities further up the value chain, highlights Morgan Gillespy in a new interview with El Espectador's Silvia Corredor Rodríguez. "My daughter just turned six and I want to be an example to her of what we can achieve as women. That we can support each other and lift each other up, that we can be mothers, daughters, sisters and partners, as well as leaders, entrepreneurs, policy makers and innovators. It’s so important that women are visible in all the critical work we do, whether it’s caring for the earth or leading environmental coalitions."
