This is the good stuff! There’s nothing better than joining one’s teammates to learn, share, and get to know each other better. Last week, we held our FORCE Communications-Powered by Petauri™ all-company meeting in Indianapolis, where coworkers from across the country met for 2 days of targeted learning, socializing, and celebrating. One highlight was hearing from a client panel about their experiences and expectations—and a bit of crystal-ball prediction of our industry’s future. Representatives from medical affairs, marketing, and KOL engagement teams graciously shared their expertise and perspectives to help us bring science to life for our clients today and for many years to come. At FORCE, we know that our culture is special. Events like this are a terrific reminder of just how special it is. #medcomms #ourcompany #science #patients #life #culture

Owner and Director, Holmfield Consulting Ltd » » » Pharma and Biotech Marketing Consulting » » »Launch Planning
5 years 1,825 days 43,800 hours 2,628,000 minutes 157,680,000 seconds What has made it all worthwhile and continue consulting for the Pharma and Biotech world has been the amazing, talented and wonderful people I have been fortunate enough to support and work with during this time. Has every single one of these seconds, minutes, hours or even days been filled with supporting my amazing clients? Not quite because family and friends time is also important. I can say that, all of the time I have been able to dedicate to them, whether on strategic or tactical challenges, launch planning and support, marketing and commercial needs and anything in between, I have done with a personalised approach. I have truly cared about each and every product; each and every client too. And of course, I have enjoyed it all. I am looking forward to the next 5 years at Holmfield Consulting Ltd. being as exciting, fun and rewarding as these first 5 have been and I can’t wait to work on many more exciting projects with you (and receive many more positive endorsements and feedback from more happy clients!). "Inspired by Megan Grether's interaction with passionate entrepreneurs at #AHNTI 2024. At Boehringer Ingelheim, we value such drive and seek partners for breakthrough innovation in #animalhealth. Interested? Explore opportunities with us. Check out the original post. #BoehringerIngelheim #Innovation #Partnership"
Meeting start-up entrepreneurs and young professionals is always enriching to me. Their passion and drive to translate scientific ideas into commercial products that improve #animalhealth is amazing. These entrepreneurs face numerous challenges, uncertainties, and setbacks. From creating a business plan and understanding the potential market, to closing knowledge gaps, hiring the right people, securing funding, and building a competitive edge, it requires immense optimism and persistence. Recently, I had the opportunity to attend Animal Health, Nutrition and Technology Innovation Europe 2024 (#AHNTI) in London, where I met many new joiners to our industry. It was inspiring to witness the belief and dedication of these individuals in their ideas and potential products. At Boehringer Ingelheim, we are always on the lookout for potential partners who share our passion for breakthrough innovation in animal health. We have a proven track record in creating innovation, from early research to production, marketing, and sales. However, we also recognize the value of collaboration and believe that by combining our different skills and experiences, we can achieve joint success. It's worth noting that Boehringer Ingelheim began as a small company with only around 30 employees back in 1885. While many things have changed over the decades, our entrepreneurial spirit hasn’t. If you're interested in partnering with us in areas such as oncology, cardiometabolic diseases, or oral health, learn more here: https://bit.ly/3QcQmrx

Recently back from the 2024 Veterinary Meeting & Expo, senior bankers from the Harris Williams Healthcare & Life Sciences Group and Consumer Group are excited about the potential for an increasingly active M&A environment across the veterinary sector. Demand for veterinary services remains strong, with a dedicated population of pet owners committed to providing their best friends with high-quality care. And a variety of factors suggest growth and business performance are poised to improve. Investors have long gravitated toward the veterinary sector given its resilient, recurring demand, attractive cash-pay model, and opportunities to build sophisticated platforms of scale. Most recently, the labor market has eased, facilitating growth for a wide range of platforms. Combined with promising macroeconomic indicators, this more readily available talent across veterinary roles portends resurgent M&A activity in the space. “We’re starting to see patient volumes increase as vet capacity opens up,” notes Whit Knier, a managing director in the Healthcare & Life Sciences Group. “And because vet services are deemed essential by so many consumers, many vet businesses have managed to weather inflationary pressures.” “The best teams have been focused on optimizing operations and supporting organic growth,” notes Corey Benjamin, a managing director in the Consumer Group. “They’ve improved efficiency and margins and have leveraged technology so they can make the most of the sector’s strong demand.” As business performance improves, capacity and volumes increase, and credit and equity markets rebound, M&A is set to surge. “Many vet platforms are perfecting their organic growth strategies and are eager to tap into inorganic growth, and we think conditions are ripe for a rebound,” says Geoff Smith, a managing director in the Healthcare & Life Sciences Group. “Our conversations at VMX reinforced our optimism for 2024 and beyond.” Connect with us to learn more about the trends driving growth in the veterinary services sector and how investors can add value. #VMX https://lnkd.in/eXnFj4dz Corey Benjamin, CFA, Whit Knier, Geoffrey Smith Jr.
