For various reasons we flew from Australia to UK this time on Emirates. We were told by friends that the two airlines (Emirates and Qatar Airways) are very much the same. How wrong this is. The Emirates fleet is old, tired, cramped and uncomfortable and the food was dreadful. In contrast, I have never had a bad experience on Qatar Airways when they have given me seats that I requested.

Congratulations! We are so proud to have you in the Virgin Australia family, connecting our customers between Australia and the world.

I fly with Qatar Airways regularly and they are outstanding compared to other airlines especially Buisness class. Hammad airport is truly magnificent and so is the duty free. However like other customers have said QA customer services is non existent when you have an issue. I assume QA customer services haven’t won any awards lately. I have been contacting QA since April and the only contact I have received is an automated response. Come on QA you will lose valued customers if you don’t sort out you Customer services dept.

“⚠️ *Beware when booking with Qatar Airways* ⚠️ I’ve flown with Qatar Airways three times this year and every time they’ve changed the aircraft last minute with no prior notice. They sell QSuites but then just change aircraft. Last time which was 3 days ago, it was an old aircraft. Despite reaching out multiple times via email, I’ve received zero response. I even sent a message through Instagram, and still no reply. Qatar Airways, this is not the customer service I expected. To all potential travelers, be cautious when booking with them—they seem to be neglecting their customers. #QatarAirways #CustomerServiceFail #TravelIssues #BeAware”

Update: Now it has been close to 18 days Qatar Airways maybe a great airline in the air but on the ground, they are no better than Ryan Air. I flew to Dubai from Dulles airport on Saturday July 13th and arrived in Dubai on July 14th with a stop in Doha. They not only lost my luggage, they did not provide compensation for my clothes that I had to buy there. I emailed each day and no one got in touch with me or care. I spent close to $3000 for 2 tickets and could not do my business. If this is how the ground crew treats your luggage or communication, don’t think I’ll go back anytime soon. Lost over $10k in clothing that included 2 watches etc. Today is August 1 2024 and still no one has gotten in touch with me about my losses, While I was in Dubai, not one person called me or cared if I had clothing, which I did not I had to buy my diabetic medicine at regular prices, this was a wasted trip to the tune of of over $5,000 not including luggage contents. I have been flying for over 40 years and I have never experienced this lack of care and communication. Instead I get scammers telling me they work for Qatar Airways and they can send my compensation by Remitly Here I thought Qatar was top notch

Qatar Airways Qatar Airways Qatar Airways can someone contact me PLEASE. I left artwork on my flight from Bali on Sunday 30th June. I realized it 3 mins after deplaning while on the shuttle, my escort told me they would bring it to me in the oryx lounge in a couple hours. It was confirmed the item was located several times (my last name Smith was written on it). 8 hours later after talking to 5 people in the lounge includingsupervisors. The item was never delivered to us although an hour prior to my boarding lost and found said to lounge employee Rumbi. they had the item. Please go to c2 and have a qatar employee come get it. The employee went and came back empty handed. He said it was not there. I would really appreciate someone reaching out to me. We would appreciate our art work back. Created tracking ATLLP88843.
