I come from a long line of boaters and will likely always have multiple watercraft in my life. But for those just getting started or those in big cities, the boat club idea is so intriguing to me. Through friends, I’ve had the opportunity to experience our local Freedom Boat Club and I feel compelled to share how wonderful it is. It really IS as easy as is sounds! 📆You reserve a boat ahead. 🚶♀️You walk right in at your scheduled time and everything is ready to go. ☀️Helpful staff gives you the weather forecast and water temp. 🛟The boat is equipped with all needed safety gear. 🚤The best part IMO, when you return the boat. You just walk away!!! No hauling, no cleaning, etc. FBC also provides training to increase your boat handling skills - something most dealerships don’t offer. At a time when we have such large urban areas where people are also desperately in need of disconnect time, and the benefits of being on the water, I can see why the boat club business is booming and I wanted to offer my kudos, especially to the Occoquan location in Virginia. 👏👏👏 #CustomerService #BoatingSafety #EaseofUse

1moStephanie, as a captain for Freedom Boat Club in the Los Angeles area you are 100% spot on. Nice to leave the boat maintenance to someone else! I LOVE teaching our members new skills. The girls in our location formed a Commanding Ladies Powerboat Fleet last week to bring female members together. It was so wonderful to hear them all making plans to buddy boat and crew together. Many boating social events and gatherings are in the works. Maybe you can rally the girls in your area to do the same. I am happy to chat or assist from afar.
