What if you had to buy a new iPad every time Apple put out an update? You wouldn’t be an Apple user for very long, right? This is why flexibility is so critical to software and hardware. As technology moves forward, new types of data will emerge to help you stay on-time and on-budget. But data alone can’t help you. You need a way to use it effectively. You need a telematics system that can adapt and take in new data types. How to future-proof your telematics is always on our minds - https://buff.ly/3jJvV6O #construction #data #datainsights #contractor #constructionlife #tools #constructionworker #datatracking #builders #industrial #plumbing #residential #fleetintelligence #insights #analytics

New Post: Volkswagen Bows to Touchscreen Criticism, Will Bring Back Physical Buttons - https://lnkd.in/gT9gShU2 - There’s more than nostalgia making folks pine for the days of knobs, dials, and buttons. Touchscreens are fine for all-in-one devices but not for something as simple as controlling a car’s air conditioning. Volkswagen had to learn the hard way that just because something can be put in a touchscreen doesn’t mean it…Read more... - Download: Stupid Simple CMS - https://lnkd.in/g4y9XFgR

Crash is eminent when you start running instead of walking! There were a significant number of posts admiring the desk-to-production prowess of EVs getting accelerated in the span of a few months. There is a difference between launching a mobile phone in a few months and an automated EV when human lives are involved. This is a clear message to tech enthusiasts to take things with a pinch of salt when anybody claims beating the leaders and disrupting the industry. There is a significant reason why automotive software and hardware are tested for years before witnessing production. Mobile phones are not going to kill pedestrians or risk driver's or family's lives at stake. Failing brakes, unguarded rear motors, jammed chargers, bad copies of Porche Taycan, 21% higher insurance premium due to potential fire hazard and design flaws are the outcome of poor testing, quality control, and jumping to conclusions

TATA Motors Limited | REESS Architect | Cell2Pack (3.0), Module2Pack | Thermal-Management control strategies | Reducing Thermal Runaway Occurrence through PFMEA-IQC-Planning | Fast Charging Topology - Power electronics
Nah... even I also don't know the answer to that last question! Q: Is the people know that the Xiaomi car which recently showcased and praising like anything by them is gets charging in just 5 mins means what? Truth: 1. It's reported like with 5 mins of rapid charging you will achieve about 220 km range. 2. Moreover a 15 mins of extend the range by about 500km 3. Positioning it as one of the fastest-charging Vehicles on the market. Fatigue: 1. Most feels like, in 5mins means it will completely changed only right?! People not able to process: 1. Is the tech showcased 5 mins is effecting the cycles life or not? Venkat .Gumpini: 1. If they expressed the above-mentioned values with thieer higher end vehicle only then, it's a 101kWh battery with CATL's NMC cell based Qilin mounted (C2P 3.0) only. 2. So, the 1**.25 Wh/km is what they achieved. 3. How I too can achieve is the same is like, putting a 27.775 kW of energy into the above-mentioned vehicle where that same Wh/km can deliver with the same weight and the pack is like 101kWh or so, with cooling the battery pack after 5mins with regulated charging rate and few small extra cares. 4. I want a LAB where I can study of such really faster charging topologies are not affecting the cycles life of a cell. Thanks to all audiences, please encourage me if you like the content by likes and shares. Happy to hear from you.

The another fact is that for their 101 kWh model... They using 27.775kWh to get a rapid charge range of 220km in just 5mins is nothing but the energy they are filling inside that pack is just 27.5% only ... I think one can understand that in this way... The one who uses CC-CV in multi stage or single stage through dependants on CCL and DCL limits shared by a Cell supplier is going to achieve the same thing? 220 km in 5 mins = 44 km per min. Uncertainty like: So, the players like playing... If your battery supports and manges your battery life through your BMS then only I give you 5C rating or 10C rating charger to get it done like above! And no it's not Charger it's on BCS (Battery Cooling System) who has to perform the cooling in such a way that no more cycles life will effect by such higher C-Ratings. No all this is scrap, it is about the cell chemistry only... Cell suppliers must give warranty like under 5C or 10C a 100k cycles so that in real time we can get 25k cycles at least. And that's how a 20kWh pack warranty I can offer with 10yrs cycle life at pack level. Me: Thinking of right time to achieve something special for Indian markets with all due respect from the same people who are playing sensitively and safely. #VenkatGumpini
