How an 18 pulses #VFD works. One of the classical techniques to reduce line-side harmonics in #drives is by using multi-pulse rectifiers. It can be 12, 18, or 24 pulses (or up to 36 in some cases). It is a cost-effective, robust yet simple solution. Especially if MV components are used. The isolation transformer allows to use of voltages different than the motor nameplate to feed the drive. The isolation transformer also provides increased protection against power supply electrical disturbances. Check out this video explaining the 18 Pulses Drive principles. #eaton

To connect a reed switch in a circuit: Power Source: Connect one end of the power source to one terminal of the reed switch. Load: Connect the other terminal of the reed switch to the load (e.g., LED, relay). Complete the Circuit: Connect the other end of the load to the other terminal of the power source. When a magnet is brought near the reed switch, the switch closes, allowing current to flow through the circuit and powering the load. Removing the magnet opens the switch, breaking the circuit and turning off the load.
