Today's #WellnessWednesday #MentalHealthHack is to go for a walk outside! According to a study by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, walking for one hour daily helps reduce the risk of major depression by 26%! And, according to Help Guide, the endorphins that are released by physical activity, such as walking, help relieve anxiety and stress, and improve memory, thinking, self-esteem, sleep, energy levels, and resilience. Don't have an hour during the day to walk? That's okay! Walk for as long as you're able to.
