The internal organs are stimulated and the body’s acid-base balance is regulated. Kidney function is stimulated. Gives strength to the leg, pelvic and back muscles. People suffering from back, shoulder injury, should avoid this asana. The orthopedics specialist's words echoed in my mind like a haunting melody: "Badminton or golf, one has to go…" Exactly a year ago, the diagnosis struck like a bolt of lightning – right shoulder tendinitis. The specialist's prescription was clear: sacrifice one of my beloved sports. I reluctantly bid farewell to both games for months, but the respite was short-lived. Six months later, my once-powerful right arm became a mere shadow, unable to execute even the simplest swinging motion. It wasn't long before both shoulders froze in agony, robbing me of the simple pleasure of slipping into a T-shirt. I embarked on a desperate quest for relief, trying every therapy imaginable – chiropractors, acupuncture, physio, tuina, Baguan. Yet, the root cause remained elusive. Was it the relentless grind of sitting at my desk, I wondered? To my fellow enthusiasts, I impart this hard-earned wisdom: moderation is key. Don't tread the path of obsession as I did. Learn from my mistakes. Prioritize warm-ups and cooldowns. Embrace the 20-minute and 1-hour rules at work, (my own rule, you can have yours) sparing your body the toll of sedentary confinement. Today, I stand at 70% recovery, a testament to the power of resilience. I've tempered my passion for badminton, shelved golf temporarily, opting instead for walks on jogging days and invigorating swims. Work breaks are no longer a luxury but a necessity. Badminton and golf still hold a special place in my heart, but I've learned that their value lies not in excess but in their contribution to my well-being. This was my last swing 6 months ago, bearing the pain in left shoulder and powerless right arm. Let this journey serve as a reminder: health reigns supreme.

Treatment Plans (time based, criterion, return to play) One way to overcome this is through residency and fellowships.
