Event planning is my mojo!💃🏽 We hosted our Q3 Meeting on Tuesday at Barlean's and we had a picnic together. We can get busy all doing our jobs, attending meetings, and finishing projects, so it's incredibly valuable and impactful to pause and picnic together! Work and play = balance and that is what we hold to high esteem as our core value. It’s funny how we celebrate events like New Year but forget to celebrate our own wins. It doesn’t come naturally. It is something I am trying to do more of because it is so easy to beat yourself up and think of all the things you need to do, forgetting how far you have come. What have you achieved in 2023? For me I am proud of 1. Getting the HR networking group off the ground 2. Supporting some lovely 1:1 clients and helping them feel more proud of themselves and more hopeful and brave. 3. Running my first self-employed workshop in person No matter what your achievements, give yourself a pat on the back today.

Whether it's Valentine's Day, Easter or any other gatherings, these can become a habit and it’s easy to lose sight of why they exist in the first place. At Bolt's workplace team, we recognised the importance of breaking away from this pattern. Instead of simply going through the motions, we decided to listen to our team's feedback and address a specific need that had been expressed: the desire to get to know one’s colleagues. In a team of 1000+, it’s a must 😅 This led us to organise a mingle event, crafted to provide everyone with the opportunity to get to know each other. We understood that fostering these personal connections is crucial for enhancing collaboration, boosting morale, and ultimately driving productivity within our organisation. When individuals feel connected to their colleagues on a personal level, they're more likely to communicate openly, share ideas freely, and work together towards shared goals.
