But the experience of the financial crisis in a large organisation led Jamie to try running a start up, 1-800-DOCTORS, as a new "possibility". That then led to becoming CEO of Advisor Group, US largest group of independent financial advisors. A very different type of organisation again. His development of a "possibility mindset" enabled his success in these very different roles and organisations. It's this mind set that leaders need to develop in their organisations to meet the challenges we now face, "status quo" thinking is effectively going backwards as the world moves forwards.
