It's exciting to see the great progress #Intel is making across our ESG initiatives and RISE strategy. Much of which was new to me! You can read more in our recently released Corporate Responsibility Report at intel.com/responsibility. On p.99 of our CRR, there's a section on Win-Win Impact, which features some of the Client Segment Outreach & Marketing work that I do. One of the things I get asked is "what do you do?" Then I say "Segment Outreach and Marketing" and get a confused look (which is my fault on that one). To which I then say: I demonstrate through product advocacy, thought leadership, and community collaboration that tech for impact, is good for business. Yes, it's true! You can further business goals while empowering communities and driving technology equity! Congratulations to all of the people and teams at Intel whose impactful work is featured throughout the report! And thanks for showing that your job not only makes Intel an industry leader in compute, but also an industry leader in doing good. And thanks to our #RISE2030 leadership for featuring the work we do! #iamintel #techforgood #csr #corporatesocialresponsibility #dogood #education #aiineducation #esports #esportsinedu #eduesports

After a fantastic 18.5 years my time at Dell Technologies comes to end. I wanted to thank all my colleagues, Partners and Customers for their positive impact on my time here, I can only look back with fond memories and be grateful to the times we experienced together. We have navigated growth, decline, escalations, Customer wins, Partner success all with a very liberal sprinkling of fire drills…let’s be honest, we love a fire drill! Working in a portacabin in the Bray office in Ireland as a TAM managing the Service delivery of our Gold and Platinum Support Services to our UKI SMB Customers seems like a long time ago. (2005!) Much water has passed under the bridge since then and after several IC and leadership roles I flipped from Services Delivery to Services Sales. In hindsight, making this flip was one of my best career decisions and I’m thankful to the leaders, in both Delivery and Sales, that I’ve had the opportunity and privilege to work with along the way – you all know who you are! For the last eight years I’ve leaned into the Dell Technologies Partner business leading our Services Programs, soaking up knowledge, filling gaps, defining requirements, influencing and shaping the Services elements in DTPP, building growth Programs and seeking opportunities to grow the individuals on my teams over these years. Most recently, contributing to the ramped ESG focus in FY24 DTPP has been very rewarding and it’s great to see our Asset Recovery Services taking centre stage – what an amazing opportunity and experience! In addition to these experiences being an active member of the Dell Technologies Dublin Site Leadership Team and sponsor of the Dublin #GenNext ERG provided multiple opportunities to shape, contribute and deliver value to our Dell Tech Dublin operation. An amazing team focused on our people, Customers and Partners – I’ll miss this onsite engagement, camaraderie and presenting at the site AHODs!!! The people, pace, energy and collaboration in Dell Technologies is infectious and I will miss this also, but I am sure there is much more success to come for the corporation. However, for now, it’s back to college for me as I go and explore Design thinking for Sustainability UCD Innovation Academy. I have found myself reflecting on climate-related extremes that we are witnessing across the globe over the past few months/years, and this has generated a need to act and become a force for change. What change? This I am not yet sure of but ultimately, I intend find a space where I can help organizations understand sustainability and strike the balance between doing the right thing and winning customers! A new path but one I am passionate about and that I know will lead to a great new adventure…. Everyday is a school day. Wish me luck! #sustainabilty #pivot #careerchange #evolving #learningjourney #grateful

Ted Jenkins, a senior engineer at Intel and one of the company's first hires, transformed my understanding of power dynamics when I interviewed him back in the 1990s. Then we can go onto the rest of it. Ted explained that Intel's success in leveraging strategic ideas from individuals at all levels was rooted in the recognition of four kinds of power that operate within any organization. Let's explore them together: 1️⃣ The power of position: This form of power stems from our title, job description, and the place we hold on the org chart. While positional power bestows formal control over resources and decision-making, it remains extrinsic, detached from our individual talents and merits. Our position is a temporary slot that we fill, preexisting our tenure and enduring beyond our departure. 2️⃣ The power of expertise: Intrinsic to us, this power is rooted in the skills and knowledge we bring to our jobs, honed through training and practice. These talents reside in our minds and bodies, constantly renewing and growing with use. Expertise is a power we carry with us, even if we move on from the organization. 3️⃣ The power of connections: It rests in the web of personal relationships we cultivate, from acquaintances to those within six degrees of separation. Nurturing a robust network enables the flow of resources, ideas, and information, fostering opportunities for innovation. High-functioning teams can transform an entire organization by tapping into unexpected skills from diverse connections. 4️⃣ The power of personal authority: Irrespective of our position, personal authority is the ability to inspire trust and respect among colleagues. This power can far outweigh one's positional power. From a supply chain clerk identifying a new distribution link to an admin acting as the eyes and ears of a top executive, personal authority amplifies impact, empowering others along the way. Ted Jenkins was a visionary ahead of his time, and his ideas remain revolutionary even today. May Ted's wisdom open pathways of self-discovery for us all. Thinking back to the time when i first join Intel, i could say it was a turning point in my career as I’m no longer focus only on Accounting Standards but also into the system architecture and Business Processes. Intel is a great workplace that give us opportunities access to technology and automation solution, you can barely see paperworks in a Finance Org as it has been automated and digitalised. Throughout the journey, i’ve learned that ADAPTING is the key to my continuous growth. Adaptation to diverse environments is my greatest asset. It cultivates flexibility, fosters innovation, and deepens my understanding of global dynamics. Embracing change as an opportunity, I thrive in new landscapes, connect with diverse perspectives, and catalyze success in dynamic professional settings. #Adaptability #ProfessionalValue #iamintel
