To design Rumor, Bertjan Pot converted an image into a set of randomly arranged pixels in four different colours. At a distance it presents a uniform and subdued colour palette. However, upon closer inspection, irregular clusters of pixel-like stitches emerge, revealing four contrasting colours within the surface. Embroidery is one of the most popular decoration methods chosen by our clients. 👌 We execute it using an embroidery machine, programed based on the pattern design in a special graphic program. 💡 It's worth noting that not every design is suitable for embroidery, for example, due to excessive detail. This type of decoration allows the use of any colors and enables achieving unique effects such as: 🔹 three-dimensionality (embossed decoration), 🔹 illusion (for example, of a golden color by using metallic threads), 🔹 soft carpet effect (chenille #embroidery). It allows decorating thick outerwear and it's very often used on caps (winter or baseball) and scarves. Embroidery is the only decoration method suitable for uneven surfaces, for example, on fabric with an embossed pattern.
