Today, I am so grateful to celebrate my 2 years with Gartner. My recruiting focus is for the Midsize Enterprise Global Technology Sales team. Everyday is different and stays interesting! I am surrounded by the most professional people, I have ever worked with in my career. Gartner associates have 6 core traits that are Executive Presence, Quick Learn, Life Time Learner, Pathways to Gold, Lifelong Learner, and Integrity. Fueling my constant desire to meet new people and learn about their journeys, I am excited to share that I recently completed Gartner Crew - an eight-week professional development and networking program open to all associates at Gartner. I had joined with a single purpose of ‘Networking’ but here’s what I gained over and above that: ▶️ Visibility of high impact businesses in Gartner My CREW members came from teams including consulting, client services, PMO and more. Over weeks I learnt about their roles, what skills are needed, potential growth opportunities and how they’ve been successful in their careers at Gartner. ▶️ New perspectives and rewired mindsets We discussed everything under the roof; career growth, work-life balance, advocating for equal opportunities and mental health. The space to have transparent conversations without a fear of judgement was the best! ▶️ A driven and fun support group There was a theme running in our discussions:‘Never Say Never’. We always rooted for each other, supported goals, shared ideas and action plans to help pursue ambitious opportunities and pushed boundaries to think big.
