🎓 Taking the plunge to become a full-time student again after 10+ years of fulfilling career was both a privilege and a risk. It meant embracing more uncertainty and launching an avalanche of change. This time, it wasn’t about earning another diploma; rather embarking on a journey of discovery and personal transformation. This choice wasn’t easy and required moving mountains. It meant two career breaks— for me and my wife, relocating, our child changing schools, and transforming nearly every aspect of our lives (Evgenia Farikh your unwavering support means everything). Even finding the right degree was challenging, as the Sloan Masters is offered by only three top business schools worldwide – not easy to find, even harder to get in. Yet, I wasn’t alone. I was joined by 60 like-minded trailblazers seeking deeper understanding, striving to become our best selves, and never settling. So far, this has been one of the best decisions of my life. The #Sloan program at London Business School is truly special and yesterday marked an important milestone—the day we all graduated. I am deeply grateful for this experience and the memories made with our amazing class, which was wonderfully diverse and truly global 🌎. Every day, I was surrounded and inspired by incredible people—driven, smart, curious, and most importantly, deeply human. The endless intellectual challenges were demanding and equally exciting with hundreds of cases, projects and ventures. I don’t think we slept much - balancing deadlines, we relearned how to learn. And with every new module, we formed new teams and made them work. And every time I was in awe of what can be achieved in a truly diverse cross-cultural setting. We were extremely fortunate to learn from the world’s best faculty including Jessica Spungin, Nigel Nicholson,Herminia Ibarra, Sir Andrew Likierman, Andrew J Scott, Michael G. Jacobides, Luisa Alemany, Gary Dushnitsky, Selin Kesebir, Dan Cable, Jeff Skinner to name just a few. Thank you for everything, it was a privilege to have you as mentors. I can't fully describe the rollercoaster of this experience. The LBS motto, "We are minds alive," truly encapsulates our journey. LBS challenges conventional wisdom, transforms careers, and empowers people to change the way business impacts the world. But it’s so much more than that—it’s the friendships and the incredible global community who share the same values that make this truly special. A special shoutout to: Valeria Vorobiova, Stephanie Kiszka, Bryony Murdoch, Annette Minihan, Paul Drew, Sarah Inigo-Jones, Gil Schwenk 💫 Finally, to my friends at #LBS, wherever we go from here, I wish you all the best. Stay curious, stay open, and always be yourselves. Honoured to have been on this journey with you and to be part of the #LBS community. P.S. I think this is a perfectly-blurred picture for the occasion plus the one with the most important person who inspires me every day 💫 #LBSGrad #Sloan #LondonBusinessSchool
