I've hit a milestone😊... My book "From PCOD to Motherhood: Journey of Faith & Fertility" has reached over 25 readers! I know this isn't a great number to flaunt on LinkedIn, neither is it a bestseller by conventional standards. BUT it means the world to me.😌 I'm happy I got the opportunity to tell my story to my readers, however small that number could be, and more importantly, to bring a change in their lives. The journey from the first thought of writing this book to seeing it in readers' hands has always been driven by a single intention: To offer a raw and real account of my experiences with PCOD, IVF, and fertility challenges. My goal is to show that there's a possibility beyond IVF and that food and lifestyle changes can transform our bodies. I wanted to give women battling these challenges a sense of hope and community, making them feel less alone on their journey. If my book helps even 0.01% of women navigate their PCOD and motherhood struggles, I know I've achieved what I set out to do. To everyone who's read it, shared it, or found even a glimmer of hope in its pages—thank you. There's this viral #workplacetrend that I believe is an age-old workplace problem re-packaged as a shiny new buzzword. . . . . . "Resenteeism" It's basically people doing the bare minimum at work. They stay at their current job due to financial obligations and responsibilities but aren’t ready to leave for various reasons. Why does resenteeism happen? ❌People feeling undervalued ❌They are burnt out ❌They are not understanding the impact of their work ❌They are disconnected from their manager and team Fortunately, there are some tell-tale behavioural changes you may notice in someone who may be a "resentee"... ⚠️They often become less responsive ⚠️They will show up but stick to just bare essential tasks ⚠️There might be a dip in their work quality ⚠️They stop taking initiatives ⚠️They seem disinterested My take: I think resenteeism can be solved—or at least minimized—by investing in team-building as well as 1:1 sessions with disengaged employees. Strengthening connections across high-performing teams, no matter where they are working from, is crucial. Communication is key, and HR has a big role to play here. What do you think of this trend? #unpopularopinion Taking a break from LinkedIn is okay, and you shouldn’t feel guilty about it. I took a break from LinkedIn for almost a week to focus on family and other business priorities. A friend who knows I've been trying to be more active here noticed this and pretty much scolded me for it. But why? Yes, taking a break might seem like a big deal. It’s easy to worry that all your progress will disappear, your visibility will dwindle, growth will stagnate, and people might forget you. The pressure to maintain discipline, consistency, and a daily posting schedule is real, and it’s talked about a lot on this platform. But here's the truth: There is life outside LinkedIn. And sometimes, that life needs your undivided attention. Sure, the algorithm might not favor you as much when you return, but that’s a small price to pay for attending to what truly matters—whether it’s your family, health, or other significant aspects of your life. So, if you need a break, take it. Your LinkedIn profile will still be here when you return, and the people who value you won't forget you just because you took a few days off.
