Thanks to my esteemed colleagues that joined me in a lively panel at the Sachs 17th Annual European Life Sciences CEO Forum (#Sachs_ELSF) to discuss keeping pace with market needs in oncology business development and licensing.    Super discussion moderated by Richard Ward and Michael R Huebner drawing on biotech and pharma players Astrid Maria Dahl, Göran Forsberg, Jesús Baena and Khatereh Ahmadi operating in a fast-changing world: emerging data and recent transactions in new modalities and therapies; forward-looking transaction strategies to meet future unmet needs as standard of care evolves; and crystal ball-gazing into emerging gamechangers like TLS (tertiary lymphoid structure) biology. Terrific exchange of ideas; can't wait to see the next set of transactions from this highly experienced group of deal-doers!

My ASP experience has come to an end with the inspiring Amgen Scholars European Symposium at University of Cambridge and like every newborn alum, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Amgen Foundation, organizers Amgen Deutschland, my host lab (and especilly to my extremely patient and supportive supervisor there - Sophie Brameyer). As well I want to shout out to the next generations: apply, apply, apply! Throughout my journey with fellow LMU scholars, we faced challenges, embarked on adventures, and created countless happy memories. Being young, smart, and fortunate is a great start, but when combined with hard work and proper guidance, it transforms us into a formidable force in this unpredictable world. The path of intense educational and research program wasn't always easy, but in the end, standing next to my first poster at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and than at the final Amgen Scholars European Symposium at University of Cambridge I realized that I'm indeed on the right way. Here are a few of the most delightful insights I carry with me after these two months: 1. Hard work pays off, but it's essential to leave room for fun and life along the way. 2. Science is as diverse as all of us are, and that's what makes it so powerful. 3. Lastly, the most unexpected thought in my mind was that If today I found myself in a place which I perceived as a glass ceiling for so many years, what can I achieve tomorrow with all the passion I've discovered within myself?

Exciting news! Today, the SwedenBIO Life Science Barometer 2024 has been launched! The Barometer provides a snapshot of the Swedish life science industry, capturing optimism, concerns, and trends from 200 industry executives surveyed in October 2023.
