For more than six decades, Medela has been guided by the mission to nurture health for generations. In our third year since the launch of Medela Cares and as a member of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), we are proud to present the progress in our sustainability journey through our 2023 Medela Cares Impact Report. Here are some of the highlights: ·      People: As part of our commitment to champion equity, we are proud to have global female representation of 60%, with a total of 52% women in leadership positions. ·      Planet: In 2023, we already reached our 2025 goal to reduce plastic packaging waste and have also significant strides in changing our cardboard packaging materials, resulting in a 51% reduction in CO2 emissions from retail packaging. ·      Society: We understand the importance of increasing access to the latest scientific evidence in healthcare. In 2023, our Global Breastfeeding and Lactation Symposium Series connected more than 2,600 healthcare providers with expert knowledge in human milk and lactation. The dedication of our employees worldwide towards making a positive impact is the driving force behind these achievements. Our collective efforts are not just about meeting goals, but about nurturing health for generations to come. My 2021 International Conference Presentation is vitally relevant today for bringing together the 'external' environmental stressors and 'internal' stressors of importance and managing them all with Resilience. Nachiket Mor has been a trailblazer and his passion for public health is admirable. That explains why he defies ageing with his passion and commitment to a higher purpose. Yet, having been involved with World Council for Health since Covid depopulation genocide, there is a sinking feeling that this was unnecessary and sooner or later, its culprits will be brought to books. I suspect that Nachiket might have fallen into a well-laid trap by the OCGFC who are reluctant to work on checking hyperconsumption (A as Affluence / Consumption per capita) and Technology impact (T as Ecological impact of technology) before they agreed to crash the Population as part of the IPAT equation.
