One of the most challenging systems to be designed are railway systems. Railways are complex interconnected systems, they are variable, diverse dispense and also interdependent. However, applying the usual engineering disciplines can be very effective though. Understanding the demand and operation needs is a first step in the process. Dividing the whole system to a group of subsystems, highlighting the major parameters and correlation between these parameters are somehow piece of art. To define clearly the requirements based on those needs from operation is an important guide for the design process where you propose accepted and reliable solutions for your design requirements. Executing your proposed solution is a miracle that can happen if the principles of execution management and well communication between execution members and stakeholders verified. the result is a product that is ready for validation and verification.
