When someone tells me they could be a social media manager because “they’ve been using social media for years”
Or same face when you come back from holiday and someone thought they'd take over the company page to 'have a go' at posting...and you find the evidence 😂
Social media is just posting pictures though 🤡

My best line was when a client said "thank you for the strategy piece you have just completed. Sarah in accounts has her daughter on work experience over the summer holidays, so we will get her to implement it, she's big into TikTok and Snapchat" neither of these platforms were my recommendation!!
But we added being a fast learner too on our resume... So we will learn fast with your account too and most importantly adapt to the ever changing landscape 😂😂😂😂

I was thrown into social media management with that same statement. Management was older and told me "you are from the younger generation, you were born with a phone, it should be easy for you" 🙃
Most of the clients think the same! And it takes hours to make them understand the strategies 😅
