The waves of the oceans can produce twice the energy we need… and we have amazing technologies like this to make it possible! This is how we can say goodbye forever to the fossil fuels that are leading us to ruin The project generates clean and affordable electricity, using a simple design that allows the project’s uniquely shaped floaters to be attached to existing man-made structures (such as piers, breakwaters and jetties), and thereby simplifying the installation process, as well as maintenance and accessibility. The company’s technology has won awards, as has its co-founder, Inna Braverman, named among the world’s most influential women, for spurring the commercialization of wave energy, which could transform the world’s energy mix and help the global fight against climate change. Commercializing wave energy has enormous potential — the World Energy Council predicts that wave energy can produce twice the amount of electricity the world currently produces. More than half the world’s population lives within 100 km of a coastline, and in many locations, the power of the waves is available around the clock. This technique can become very useful. The great thing is that the waves almost never stop, unlike wind and sun. And there is no damage to nature. Awesome.
It's a great idea to use the force of the waves to create energy! Thank you very much for this very interesting sharing, very nice day to you!
Harnessing the vast potential of ocean wave energy could indeed be a significant step towards a cleaner and more sustainable energy future! 🌊
Harnessing this wave energy has become so over engineered, complicated and prone to component failures, keep it simple and stupid, nature has a way of reminding us who's in charge.. I know of a device, developed in Scotland, which utilises wave power, has only two moving parts, (three if you include the breaker) stays out of the water and makes all other renewable (land, sun & sea) power sources obsolete. Sadly it has remained in the shadows, for now. I hope someday soon it will come into the light and put an end to this wind turbine invasion and the other offshore devices which will for sure end up lost at sea or be dumped in the sea and called a man made fish habitat.
This is extremely interesting
This technology harnesses the power of ocean waves to generate clean and affordable electricity, showcasing the potential and innovation of renewable energy. Inna Braverman's leadership and the company's achievements not only drive the commercialization of wave energy but also contribute significantly to combating global climate change, marking a crucial step towards sustainable future energy.
Interesting! Eine geniale und einfache Art Strom zu erzeugen. Hoffentlich erkennt das auch die Politik.
Interesting!
