Founded in 1946, it has trained some of the world’s top perfumers. In fact, graduates from the school are responsible for creating approximately one third of the fragrances on the market today. It is such a good experience seeing such good initiatives done for physically challenged. NAB Perfumery College, an initiative of National Association for the Blind, a new avenue for the visually challenged persons in the Fragrance Industry. Leveraging their smelling strength they can really contribute a lot to the Industry. Hope our Industry gives them due remuneration for their value add, then only the Industry can thrive and prosper. I am proud to share that I have successfully achieved the INSIDE LVMH Certificate, presented by LVMH with the goal of building a qualified pipeline of talents and encouraging a democratized learning approach. INSIDE LVMH Certificate is an 8-week programme, the course provided me the unique opportunity to personalize the topics, choosing between different areas of interest. I have learned about the LVMH ecosystem, the fundamentals of the luxury industry and its key challenges, with a specialisation in Creation & Branding, Operations & Supply Chain. Through a wide range of interviews, conferences, and industry professionals, I could see the diverse layers and functions that shape the luxury industry, every aspect of the business was addressed in a deep and insightful manner. The program transformed my understanding of the luxury world and how LVMH defines and embodies their business with a unique approach. Another important lesson I learned was LVMH's focus on sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Exploring LVMH's sustainability initiatives and creative circularity, discovering advancements in bio-based materials and LVMH's genuine commitment to innovation and environmental protection. In summary, INSIDE LVMH was an experience that expanded my horizons and provided me with a deep understanding of luxury and the industry in which LVMH operates. It encouraged me to continue fueling my curiosity and delve further into the topics that impassion me.

This journey has been incredibly enriching, allowing me to delve into the intricacies of these crucial functions from the perspective of industry leaders at one of the world's most esteemed luxury groups: LVMH. Throughout this immersive experience, I had the privilege of studying and absorbing the insights of seasoned professionals. Their expertise illuminated the intricacies of supply chain management across diverse sectors, including cosmetics, fragrances, jewelry, leather goods, and more. This exposure has not only broadened my understanding of supply chain dynamics but has also deepened my appreciation for the evolving role of buyers, a field in which I already possess working experience. Over the last 8 weeks, I engaged in the INSIDE LVMH Certificate program, encompassing four modules. The initial two delved into fundamental luxury industry principles, the ethos of LVMH Group, and their environmental commitments. I opted for additional modules in Creation & Branding and Operation & Supply Chain. Post-exam, I took an extra module in Retail and Customer Experience, broadening my insights. The program's versatility in tackling topics provided a wealth of knowledge, offering not just articles but also interviews, conferences, and discussions among industry professionals. One of the things that impressed me the most was the versatility of the topics we explored. Through a wide range of interviews, conferences, and industry professionals, I could see the diverse layers and functions that shape the luxury industry. From creation and branding to operations and supply chain, and from retail to customer experience, every aspect of the business was addressed in a deep and insightful manner. The online platform used in the program was an incredibly useful tool. In addition to providing an interactive and gamified learning environment, it challenged us to pass online exams to unlock new modules. This created an exciting and motivating atmosphere where learning became an engaging game. One of the most impactful lessons I learned was LVMH's focus on sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Several hours of the program were dedicated to exploring LVMH's sustainability initiatives, such as the Guerlain Bee Respect Platform and creative circularity with Nona Source. Discovering advancements in bio-based materials, like the Algalip, showed me LVMH's genuine commitment to innovation and environmental protection.
