At Milestone 12 of #25yearsofLasX,, we celebrate a retail win for Target! 🎯 In partnership with Xerox, LasX designed SEVEN SmartFinish™️ systems to integrate into a fully digital production solution for Target's shelf talkers (i.e., those printed tags below a product on the shelf). In 2008, Xerox + LasX's fully digital solution revolutionized Target's ability to meet store capacity and variation. Because each store had a different layout (and thus different and changing tags), it was critical to find a solution that enabled: instant order change, flexibility, and on-demand production. The shelf talkers were digitally printed by Xerox, then digitally finished and sorted in stacks by LasX's SmartFinish...allowing store personnel to easily walk down each aisle and match the shelf talker with the appropriate product.
