Of course, all #EVs lose range when the temperatures drop, but so do gas-powered cars. But, EVs have something that gas-powered cars don’t have: the ability to heat the cabin without having to run the engine. 🤝 The fact that EVs can heat the cabin using little to no battery power makes them extremely safe for drivers who get stranded in chilly winter weather. One of the reasons is that EVs have about 20 moving parts in their motors, compared to the approximately 2,000 in internal combustion engines. There are a lot less things to go wrong.
