Do the math: less downtime = more profits. Extended drain intervals look great on paper but how do you know your equipment will be properly protected for that long? It starts with choosing the right oil. https://bit.ly/414fFlp

Isn't that the new thing from Delo 600 is 60% less ASH in the oil leading to better DPF life, which in turns reduces Regen cycles, and helps you increase the oil change intervals? Most medium duty truck (aka last mile delivery trucks / school buses) almost never reach optimal engine load (more iddling than driving) So ash will build up in the cylinder head, and kill the life of your engine. Just a few things I remember from synthetic lubes training...

Yes, quality engine oil will extend engine component operating life and oil life. Keep in mind all hydrocarbon fluids leaving a refinery or blending plant will have iron particles under 1 micron in size contaminating the oil and if left in the oil will cause oxidation degrading the oil and prematurely wear high tolerance components such as bearings and shafts. The only way to clean iron and steel contamination is employ quality magnetic filters that clean iron and steel wear particles to well below 1 micron in size. Magnetic filtration should be employed at every transfer point before it enters your engine and employed on the engine to protect your investment.
