In February 2024, US online grocery sales declined to $7.9 billion, marking a 10.5% decrease from February 2023 due to lower average order values (AOV). Despite the decline in AOV, monthly active users (MAUs) notably expanded, particularly in delivery. Pickup claimed 45% of U.S. online grocery sales last month, followed by delivery, which accounted for more than a third of the market. The ship-to-home channel notched just under 17% of the market.
