The second edition of the OSPOs for Good symposium was held July 9th and 10th, and was supported by the Eclipse Foundation, the Open Network For Digital Commerce (ONDC), OSPO++ and OpenForum Europe. Participants heard from various government agencies including United Nations Office of Information and Communications Technology and United Nations Office of the Secretary-General's Envoy on Technology working in open source, exchanging lessons learned and best practices through facilitated expert-led discussion. The intent is to build a "richer global presence of diverse open source thinkers, bigger ambitions and strides for championing OSPOs as a global network for good." Sharpist 2024 - AI Hackathon in Uzbekistan. The vibrant tech community of Uzbekistan, Microsoft Developers Community (MDC Uzbekistan) successfully hosted their first AI hackathon, Sharpist Hackathon 2024, in collaboration with IT Investments Center (ITIC), ITSkills, and INHA University in Tashkent (IUT).
