Heavy vehicles with low and zero emissions operating in NSW will be subject to an increase in their axle mass limit, the @HVIA reported recently. 🚛🚚 Transport for NSW announced that approved networks will be released online first, followed by access for a range of heavy vehicle combinations under a series of Notices. Safe System Snippet- Understanding the Impact of Crossfall on Truck Stability During Turns Trucks are more likely to roll than skid when travelling too quickly through a curve/corner (unlike cars). That’s why changes in superelevation (i.e. crossfall) within an intersection can have big impacts on vehicle stability.    In general, the crossfall adopted for turning roadways where vehicles can turn at moderate speed should desirably not exceed +7% or -3%. Opponents of speed limiters on tractor-trailers claim the speed differential with cars will be dangerous. But on the German Autobahn, speed differentials have no effect on highway safety.
