Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management’s Post

Nicole Pullen Ross, region head of New York Private Wealth Management and head of Sports and Entertainment Solutions, joined CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street” to discuss trends around investor interest in sports, including the growing interest in investing in women’s sports. As it relates to how the flow of money is changing the face of women’s sports, she shared: “If you look at media rights, which is the hallmark of how valuations are formed and how investors think about growth, it’s pretty extraordinary... For example, the National Women’s Soccer League recently signed a ~$240 million deal over 4 years, which was more than 40x their prior deal. The trend is following the enthusiasm in women’s sports.” Watch the full interview: http://ms.spr.ly/6045Yny3R.
