GORE-TEX Professional Fabrics stands by the saying “We protect those, who protect us, when it matters most”. It is a matter close to our hearts to actively support the initiative of DPolG who introduced their foundation in 1997 and constantly follow their mission that sometimes also helpers are the ones who need help. The foundation aims to provide the support needed nationwide to police officers injured in the line of duty and their families. Mrs. Karin and Mr. Berend Jochem invited us for a visit to this lovely place and we could hand over the check for further support from GORE-TEX Professional. Firefighters at MEYER PORT4 GmbH 4 factory fire department at the MEYER WERFT GmbH & Co. KG shipyard in Papenburg face unique challenges. Fires at the ship construction site involve high temperatures in the ship's hull. Narrow corridors, steep stairs, and exposed wiring make movement difficult. Long travel distances further complicate operations. To stay prepared for emergencies, Meyer Port 4 maintains a training area for regular drills under real-life conditions.
