We recently celebrated the ’23-’24 BIG Partners program! Over the past school year, students toured DeZURIK and the St. Cloud Hospital, participated in a financial literacy session, and had several opportunities to meet with their mentors. One student said, “I was confused about what I wanted to do after high school, but with my mentor’s guidance, I’m more confident than ever!” Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota, Independent School District 742 (St. Cloud Area School District 742), and Granite Partners form the collaboration as the B, I, and G in BIG Partners, a community mentoring program that strengthens educational, college, and career opportunities for students facing barriers. Strengthening community ties and building the workforce of tomorrow are important ways this program supports the Granite mission.
