Today's fourth and final webinar hosted by the Canadian Centre for Caregiving Excellence on "Work and Education" shed light on the significant challenges faced by caregivers of seniors and people with disabilities. Challenges Identified: > Lack of support for self-employed family caregivers > Current EI programs don’t address the episodic nature of caregiving > Need for benefits similar to those offered for maternity and paternity leave > Women in their 50s, often "sandwich caregivers," are disproportionately affected > Home Care Professionals are a more cost-effective solution compared to funding full-time staff for care James Janeiro from the CCCE webinar rightly said, "If you invest in caregivers and care providers, we are all better off." At Gravitii.care, we know how tough it can be for family caregivers to juggle work, school, and caregiving responsibilities. Especially for self-employed caregivers or those working in the private sector, the support just isn’t there. That’s where we come in. Our platform provides the flexibility and respite caregivers need, allowing them to keep their jobs and manage their lives without the constant worry of losing income. Additionally, we provide a more budget-friendly solution than many private home care agencies because we don’t carry hefty overhead fees. So, if you’re feeling stuck between limited options and high costs, Gravitii is here to help. 🍁 Join us in our mission to make a positive impact on the lives of all Canadians. #homecare #caregivers #healthcare #innovation #supportcaregivers #eldercare #seniorcare #healthcaretech #agingpopulation #CdnCaregiving
