I have been sharing my message with the nation! Since September, I feel like I have been on a whirlwind tour of the US, sharing my message of Total Worker Health®—from New Orleans to Baltimore and traveling around my home state of Ohio.   From all my presentations,, this is what I have learned: 1. The Total Worker Health® perspective is resonating with employers across the country, as they are looking for better ways to recruit and retain valuable talent. 2. Total Worker Health® is not really a new topic, but it does require a different way of looking at the intersection of worker safety and employee population health promotion. It is when we combine the two that we can get greater results in employee well-being. 3. Employees are seeking companies that have a mindset that cares about their well-being and will increase their productivity accordingly when working for these companies. 4. Instead of “quiet quitting,” employees who are engaged in their work and feel valued are twice as likely to stay with a company that is showing their work is valued.
