Our #GTAtlanta summer associates enjoyed an evening of sushi and sake tasting, all hosted by GT's Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Practice team! 🍣🍶 The night began with a delightful lychee martini cocktail reception, setting the perfect tone for a culinary adventure. Chef Doni of Sushi Party Atlanta wowed everyone with a phenomenal menu, featuring assorted nigiri and sashimi, hamachi and tempura platters, dumplings, and exquisite rolls like otoro, snapper, and smoked wagyu. 🍱✨ The selection of sake complemented the flavors beautifully, and we wrapped up the night with a trio of delicious mochi ice cream flavors. A big thank you to everyone who made this evening so fun! 🎉 #GTSummerAssociates #GTInvestsInYou #TeamGT

Wasabi is a pungent green paste made from the grated rhizome of the Wasabia japonica plant, which is native to Japan. It is commonly used as a condiment for sushi and sashimi, providing a sharp, spicy flavor. In most restaurants, especially outside Japan, the "wasabi" served is actually a substitute made from horseradish, mustard powder, and green food coloring. This is because true wasabi is expensive and difficult to cultivate, so the horseradish-based alternative is more cost-effective and easier to produce.

NEW LABEL Paradox IPA, originating in 2013, is our flagship beer that has played a pivotal role in defining the New England style IPA for the brewery. This style is characterized by its hazy, unfiltered appearance, imparting a distinctive and appealing cloudiness to the beer. The brewing process involves the use of choice English crystal malt, contributing to the beer's malt profile and adding depth to its flavor. However, the true star of the show is the generous addition of American hops. These hops are carefully selected to provide a burst of hoppy aroma and flavor, which is a hallmark of New England IPAs. The choice of hops can impart a variety of fruity, citrusy, and piney notes to the beer. What sets Paradox IPA apart is not just the choice of ingredients but also the fermentation process. The beer is fermented with an in-house ale strain, which adds a unique character to the final product. This strain of yeast contributes to the beer's overall profile, including its mouthfeel and any subtle yeast-derived flavors. Overall, Paradox IPA represents a harmonious blend of malt, hops, and yeast, creating a flavorful and aromatic experience for beer enthusiasts.
