Today we've launched the m3ter Connector for Salesforce. This one gives me quiet satisfaction because it solves a nagging pain point for customers. It's common for m3ter customers to use Salesforce as their Sales CRM and source of truth for pricing. But they often struggle with a gap between their sales and billing processes. Sellers enter customer agreements into Salesforce, but a further process is required to extract that data and feed it into the bill calculation system (i.e. m3ter). To date customers have solved for this by either a) building custom automated solutions (challenging and expensive!) or b) relying on manual processes (hard work and error-prone!). So we built the m3ter Connector for Salesforce. The impact? Our customers no longer have to worry about how they transfer customer agreements into m3ter - it happens automatically.
