VeniSIA - Venice, the oldest city of the future® is a Deep Tech accelerator. However, it is also an Italian accelerator, and, in our country, this topic is struggling to find its place among the development priorities. In pursuit of insight, VeniSIA visited #Paris to learn more about France's #investments in Deep Tech. We were welcomed with keen interest and respect by the giants Bpifrance, Université Paris-Saclay, STATION F, Hello Tomorrow and, last but not least, Kering. Establishing VeniSIA, alongside its startups, as a credible and esteemed partner was our initial triumph. The subsequent revelation confirmed that the startups we support represent a beacon of economic growth and international credibility for Italy, especially within the realms of #synbio and revolutionary material production. Thanks to the GGI Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti, led by the new President Luca Anselmi, for their forward-thinking vision and for being with us during this journey. We have already met them during our trip to Israel in 2022 and they chose to accompany once again Carlo Bagnoli and Maria Claudia Pignata (she/her). Our appreciation extends to Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti, its President Lorraine Berton and its Director Andrea Ferrazzi for adding a senior contribution during our visit.
