A huge shoutout to one of our very own engineers! Yesterday, Seth Cooper walked across the stage at the University of Southern Indiana where he was handed his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. While it may seem like just a piece of paper, it is representative of so much more. It represents his drive, determination, hard work, success, his curiosity, his desire to see change, and most importantly, his character. We, at Gryphon, could not be more proud. Seth joined us in 2020 with an Associates of Applied Science in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Owensboro Community and Technical College. In the fall of 2021, his drive to become a better engineer led him to taking a giant step and re-entering college life while maintaining his employment at Gryphon. He states, the most difficult challenge was spending 2.5 hours driving back and forth from home/Gryphon to school instead of using that time on his studies or at work. But, he appreciates all of the challenges he endured, as they have made him respect it all a little more. It has been an honor watching Seth learn and grow over the past few years, and witnessing his dedication to both his career and his education. There were many days he would be in the office for hours prior to anyone else and other days he would be the last one there. He has consistently shown us what he is capable of and motivates us all to strive for more and to do hard things! Seth, Congratulations Graduate! You are an inspiration to us all and we cannot wait to see your continued success and growth, both at Gryphon and in life!
