Astro Gardens are an incredible innovation! I've always been fascinated by hydroponics, especially when combined with aquaponics, where fish promote the health of both the plants and themselves. It's the perfect circle of life. Looking forward to seeing how this next-generation hybrid life support systems advance long-duration space missions!
I'd say throw in a few Peepal Trees in there as well! The Hemp plant produces more Oxygen than about every other plant known to man, as well as having a wide variety of uses. Wouldn't it be wild if Hemp turned out to be a Staple in the Space Exploration program for a variety of uses?
I love implementing multi tasking symbiotic relationship processes... And you should not have to deal with bugs eating the veggies like I do here in the garden on earth... LOL

Impressive. A nice supplement to osmosis or ionic gas convertion, providing nutrients to the crew.
Have you solved the nutrient value problem? It isn’t just getting them to grow. Many warehouse farms on earth failed because of this.
