I’ve just got home from the board meeting of Widows and Widowers Ministering Angels. I’ve been appointed Chair of the Endowment Committee. Jennie Taylor is the Vice-Chair. It’s a daunting number but we anticipate that by June 2024, we will exceed 2,000,000 meals served. Requests for Loaves & Fishes’ assistance have tripled since March 2020, growing from 2,500 meals to over 7,000 meals per day! By the end of June 2023, we had provided over 1,800,000 meals to those most vulnerable in our communities. And all estimates indicate that we will have served over two million meals by June 2024.
