Continuing with the next chapter of my next book on analytical techniques for power electronics, I get started with the system representation of a transformer-less single-phase UPS. With this sample power converter, I will describe how we can use concepts from linear algebra to gain insights into the behavior of the circuit in open-loop and also as a controlled system.

It was a great pleasure to present my paper 'Study in quantum algorithms and their implementations' in the 4th International Conference on Electrical, Communication and Computer Engineering (ICECCE). As soon as it is published i will share here!

So glad to share the publication of my first paper as a co-author: “3-D-Printed Dielectric Slab Rectangular Waveguide for TE10 and TE20 Mode Equalization” in the IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques. In this work, we present a dielectric filled rectangular waveguide for TE10 and TE20 mode equalization at 7.95 GHz, proposed to work in chip-to-chip communications. Two different materials were employed in the design, placing the material with higher relative permittivity in the central slab as in a step index fiber. The slab width was optimized to achieve a 45% equalization bandwidth. For demonstrating experimentally the design, the manufactured waveguides include two sections of different lengths, and the networks necessary for exciting the TE10 and TE20 modes.
