What I love about this community is how quickly the bar (!) keeps raising through insights & expertise. Everyone leaves smarter and with great clarity around their focus. My observations on how this is achieved: 🎯 Team Spirit - know each market and if you can, as many people by name as you can. A good ice breaker and shared laugh helps. 🎯 Celebrate Success - wow so many! When a team takes pride in its work as this network does, it’s important to recognise it. 🎯 Inspiration & Targets - we have numbers to hit - sharing insights from these helps us understand each markets dynamics. A balance of inspiration and reporting keeps energy high. 🎯High Level & Relevant - all content aligns with the needs and opportunities we see in the channel - it’s strategic and up-to-the minute. This past year has been one laced with growth. It's been one year since I joined Pernod Ricard and certainly, the first couple of months came with a potpourri of emotions: moving from settling into my new role to self-doubt, from pushing myself to eventually getting a hang of the demands of the role. Joining at a time when the organisation was going through a series of transformations, it appeared my teething phase lingered longer than I'd anticipated. Struggling to find my rhythm meant I occasionally doubted my abilities and contemplated throwing in the towel a couple of times. To get past this stage, two things worked for me. Firstly, in my subconscious, I was convinced that if I could endure, be consistent, push myself, and not give up, I'd come out stronger. Lastly, I had the support and cheering of those that mattered the most; my family and colleagues. Munirat Yahaya was that one person who kept believing in me. In fact, she opened my mind to cracking what I had thought impossible, and this was the beginning of me getting my groove back. I also enjoyed the immense support of my line manager - thank you, Bode Omosagba, for seeing the potential in me and for providing the required support all the way. I'm elated that the efforts I put into turning things around didn't go unnoticed as I clinched two awards at the FY23 company retreat and awards ceremony. Having won the CEO award and the "Deliver through collaboration" award, I'm motivated to continue to give my utmost best to contribute to the growth of the business. As I continue to put in the work, I'm excitedly looking forward to what the future holds. #workanniversary #resilience #appreciation

Exciting News! 🍫   I am thrilled to share that Susanne Heide and I have been honored to bring the Enterprise Thinking Award home!🏆 It is so good to see that Mars takes initiative to empower our mindsets with a nice recognition program.   By understanding the roles and responsibilities in a complex cross-functional environment, we created a humble solution to collect assumptions for long-term volume planning. This initiative helped us to speak the same language between functions, brought us together and allowed us to see different point of views in relation to each other with increased visibility.    What have we learned? • Instead of assigning tasks to a group of people, finding champions for each category is the key to efficiency and ownership. • If the tasks are defined clearly, people are likely to complete them faster as they understand the value and reasoning behind them. • Progress over perfection benefits us in the long run. Cheers to the people who embrace the change and willingly collaborate to see the future a bit better. 💙

How did Leap Day become a launchpad for transformation? Yesterday was a day of incredible fortune, as I had the privilege to facilitate a workshop for Pernod Ricard This French powerhouse has grown globally, boasting 19,000 employees and stewarding iconic brands like Ramazzotti, Havana Club, Absolut, Chivas Regal, Malibu, and Lillet. The recipe for an unforgettable workshop day included: 🏰 An inspiring location dubbed “Chateauform,” a facilitator’s paradise. 👏 A dream team of facilitators: my two besties Matilda Verney and Audrey Thouvenin complemented by 3 highly skilled in-house facilitators. 🥳 Precious moments to chat with participants, diving deep into the group’s history and the project’s significance. The true magic, however, stemmed from the collaboration and co-creation with Pernod Ricard’s exceptional change-management team and with Alexandre JUDGES ( btw we met via #linkedin) who trusted me with this contract, since he couldn’t make it that day..🙏🏻 thank you!! Leap Day marked the beginning of a major digital transformation project aimed at shaping the future of the group. We filled the day with impactful activities designed to: ✨ Foster cohesion among team members. ✨ Ignite collective intelligence. ✨ Lay a solid foundation with aligned objectives and goals. This partnership showcased the strength of collective creativity and strategic thinking. It was a momentum I’ll always hold dear and am excited to share with you all.
