Small Win, A Lifetime of Lessons Recently, I moved to Australia and started a new sales role. I initially felt unsure of my abilities. I always felt like “I'm not a natural salesperson. I can't do this,". I was new to the country, new customer base and new industry. It was a lot to take in at once. But then I remembered important advice from my previous work place boss: "Do whatever you do with genuine passion." Last month, I achieved the highest sales out of all three states in Australia. It may have been a small monthly achievement, but to me, it felt enormous. I knew how much I had struggled to overcome those initial challenges in my first few months on the job. This experience has taught me that you can accomplish anything, even overcome the most daunting obstacles, if you approach it with the right mindset. When you do something, do it correctly, do it passionately, and commit to it genuinely. That's the key. 💪🏻 #SalesLife #CareerGrowth #MotivationalMindset

WHAT'S A FUN FACT ABOUT YOU I used to work as a farmer, my first job involved shoveling manure into a wheelbarrow after the cows had been through the milking parlor. This was a unique task, aiming to avoid spreading it around the yard. I also have a background in amateur racing, participating in one-make championships at circuits across the country. Among my favorite tracks are Anglesey in Wales and Oulton Park in England. One memorable race stands out –at Oulton Park where, despite starting lower on the grid due to a poor qualifying session, I worked my way through the field in pouring rain to secure a second-place finish. I was closing in on the lead, but unfortunately, the laps ran out before I could overtake.   WHAT DO YOU LIKE DOING IN YOUR SPARE TIME I enjoy walking in the countryside, riding my motorbike, spending time with my family, and to traveling around a bit. I also like tinkering with things like doing DIY. Sales is home for me. Whenever I join a new company a common question is, what are you goals for your career and where do you see yourself in 10 years? I never have a good answer, because personally I don't think that far....😂. I mean 3 years ago I couldve swore that I was going to be an airline pilot for Southwest..... Sales was the first place that I felt like I should be here, meeting fellow sales reps made me realize there are people that are just like me. In the sales enviroment I feel like I could be myself and the things that I have passions in correlate with sales. Like: meeting new people, talking about business and learning new things everyday. I dont see myself becoming a manger or changing careers I just see my self doing my current job and getting better every day I know a lot of people fall into sales as a last option but this was my only option from the very beginning.
