Proven National Biopharma Commercial Leader - Hematology - Oncology - Cell Therapy - CV/Metabolic and GI

2024 marks the end of a nearly 23 year career at BMS, (with detours to Juno Therapeutics, Celgene and back to BMS, along the way). I want to take this opportunity to thank my many mentors, colleagues and friends who have affected my career and life in such a positive way. The work we shared, in the name of helping patients overcome serious disease, has been, and will remain my life's work. Sharing this mission with you has been a priveldge and honor I will forever cherish. I'm excited for the next chapter of my life, and will embrace what comes my way with the same level of enthusiasm, positivity, focus and engagement that I've enjoyed over the past 20 years! I look forward to the possibility of working with some of you down the road, and staying in touch with the others. Stay Well & Cheers! Hans

Although it was far too short a time, it was certainly a privilege and honor to get to work to change lives of many people with cancer working alongside you at Juno. I know wherever you go next and whatever you do, that place and those people will be better for it. Anything I can do in support, don't hesitate to reach out. Always. Besides, who else is going to let me drink their water at the airport restaurant?

Dear Hans, it was truely a pleasure working with you over the years. Your leadership, integrity and passion made us want to show up for you but also show up for patients everyday. Few people get to be a part of innovative and complex programs as we did. You recognized that opportunity truely as a gift and led us all with the expectation that we are humble but courageous and above all that we should be grateful for the opportunity. Until our paths cross again friend.

Well Hans... congratulations on a stellar career and beautiful announcement. I just read all the posts you have received and you must be proud of all the love, respect, admiration and appreciation you have been bestowed. It is no surprise to see just how many peoples lives you have affected (and many more of course). This is the mark of a live well lived and a successful career. I just last week sent out a similar announcement, ending my career run in fashion, so our lives became aligned once again. As our lives turn to new chapters, and new adventures, I hope our paths cross once again. I always respected you and am proud to see the life and career you seemingly mastered. Onward!! Best to you as you continue to live a life to its fullest....!!

My Hero! I'll never forget my first POA was on ERBITUX which you lead and you never looked back. Always another mountain for you to climb!

Looking forward to following your next chapter and wishing you the best Hans! I will always be grateful for the example you set as our leader. Not only did you lead our business with passion and integrity, but every single person on the teams you worked with knew how much you cared about them personally and professionally. You were the only person who noticed I got my braces off at the POA unsolicited. It may be a small detail, but small details like that make a lasting impression. Thank you for setting such a great example of what it means to be a leader.

Working with you was a highlight of my 25 year career at Celgene/BMS. You brought passion and caring to everything you did and the engagement of the people you led was the result. Thank you for what you taught me and for building a Cell Therapy division where people could truly be their best, which resulted in the best for patients. You are missed!
