Real leadership champions look like this. It's not something most have, because it is a character trait that was taught at a young age. I'd estimate that less than 20% of the population has this type of character. But it's not on purpose. Most don't think about it, or even realize they don't have it, or care. EVERYONE thinks they have good character, yet they don't put others first for various reasons/excuses. Real champions don't need all the praise & glory. They know it takes a team, and they appreciate the talent of others, who help them thrive. The #1 champions in every profession, give credit to others around them. They recognize the people around them, that contribute to their success.

Expressing gratitude and ensuring everyone feels included is a hallmark of effective leadership. Leaders recognize that success is seldom achieved alone; it's often the result of collaboration, support, and guidance from others. By acknowledging the contributions of those who have helped them along the way, leaders not only show appreciation but also reinforce a culture of teamwork and mutual respect.
