Congrats to Bryan Leach and Team Ibotta, Inc. on today’s IPO! 🎉 It was a privilege to stand alongside you as you began trading on the NYSE as IBTA. I’ve been proud to see you raise the bar for the entire mobile ecosystem ever since Robin Li first introduced us and we led your Series C-1 in 2017. Back then, you were among the first to “get” the shift to mobile commerce. Strategic partnerships with Walmart and Dollar General have since supercharged the Ibotta community, providing an even more centralized experience for the millions of shoppers who earn cash back through your platform every day. To Day 1 again 🙏🚀💗. Thank you all for sending me and my partners your well wishes throughout the day today. March 29, 2024 is a bitter sweet moment in time for me. I will miss my former colleagues and all the memories. I am also excited about whats ahead, as the Notable Capital team (in Silicon Valley, SF, NYC and Seattle) had come together and laid a strong foundation over the last decade. As a Taiwanese immigrant who moved to Los Angeles for middle school & high school, came to Stanford for college, and worked and lived in 9 cities since, I am grateful every morning for the opportunity (from Menlo Park) to continue to back notable founders, ideas, and causes who make positive differences in our lives.

Just back from Vegas where we kicked off #FintechMeetup with a great dinner for fintech founders. Thanks to our co-hosts: Andreessen Horowitz, GIC & Silicon Valley Bank. I also enjoyed chatting about modernizing the CFO suite with Jason Mok, Sruthi Lanka, and Siqi Chen in a panel moderated by IBM’s Jennifer Kested. As I shared with the group, having data scientists sit within the office of the CFO can give CFOs tremendous tools, access—and more influence. Looking forward to tracking this evolution. When we first created the #FintechInnovation50, we wanted to highlight the rising stars in the fintech space. What we didn’t realize was what bringing together unique and like-minded individuals would do for our community. What a thrill to ring the Nasdaq Opening Bell with so many brilliant fintech innovators! Despite a rocky 2023, the #FintechInnovation50 celebrates the innovation, perseverance, and the future potential of fintech. In a nod to today’s changing dynamics, we've renamed the annual list from #EmbeddedFintech50 to Fintech Innovation 50 to reflect our broader support for the entire fintech category and recognize AI's transformative role. #FI50 isn’t just a list—it’s a testament to the spirit of innovation, perseverance, and belief in the long-term potential of fintech. It’s also a community that we want to foster where we can exchange ideas and best practices. After all, we believe the long-term tides are in fintech's favor with disruptors and value-added enablers like these 50 honorees leading the charge. Here’s a closer look at this year’s list: 💸Collectively, the 50 companies have raised $12 billion. 🚀Half are early-stage Series A or B companies that have raised less than $60 million. Fifteen honorees are mid-stage companies that have raised $60-$150 million.
